Pelican's Nest ELC Staff
Our team have many varied and detailed aspects to their roles. Each day at Pelican's Nest is carefully planned and programming is of the highest quality in line with accreditation requirements.
- All staff fully qualified in accordance with the Department of Communities and are selected for their professional and personal qualities and their commitment to the quality care of all young children.
- All staff are encouraged to further their professional development through participation in relevant courses and seminars.
- Each group is supervised by a minimum of two qualified staff members.
- All effort is made to ensure children are cared for by familiar and regular staff members.
- Careful planning of staff leaves of absence and routine rosters to ensure familiar staff are available to you and your child.
- The rotating nature of our roster will promote children’s exposure to all regular centre staff, thereby increasing their trust of other staff in the absence of those they are most familiar with.
The staff at Pelican’s Nest are to be congratulated on their excellent care and the quality of programmes they provide for the young children who attend our Early Learning Centre.
