Fun at Little Mountain
Our first social event
On Sunday, November 9, the families of Pelican’s Nest enjoyed their first social event together, organised by our wonderful Parent Committee!
Even with rain threatening, dozens of families assembled at Little Mountain Park for a sausage sizzle, organised games and the chance to meet and catch up with one another in a social setting.
Megan Hockenhull did a wonderful job organising games for the children including sack races, egg & spoon races and thong throwing and Kevan Boulton proved to be an excellent chef at the BBQ as he sizzled up the delicious sausages kindly donated by Adam Daniec of Meat at Moffat.
Krystal Goudge did a fabulous job organising all the drinks and other assorted groceries and even enlisted the support of Pelican Waters Coles to provide some of these items for our use. The newly upgraded park was a fantastic venue with play equipment, an amazing “road safety” bike track and a shady gazebo and BBQ facilities.
Thank you to our dedicated Parent Committee and thank you to all our families who were able to come along and share the day with us!
