Nest News - April
From the Centre Manager
I would like to start with saying a big thank you to all our beautiful families and the local community for their continued support and positive words through the past month, with all the change that we have all had to adapt to in our lives.
We spread the love and care from our family at Pelican’s Nest to our local community with hampers of fruit baskets for our local hospital workers, Easter cards and bookmarks made for our elderly community to show we care and are thinking of them as well through this time.
Wow, what a fun filled and busy month we have had here at Pelican’s Nest. We have enjoyed having our school-age children join us in celebrating our centre Easter fun holiday program.
Throughout our Easter holiday program, we had many experiences. We all got involved in within our centre and extended this out to our outside environments including our school grounds.
We participated in sports days out on the school oval in the beautiful weather, Easter hunt and hat parade, disco/rainbow day and much more.
We have continued to ensure our children feel secure within our environments and continued to develop their skills through our everyday fun educational program.
There were many special moments shared and memories made as our school-age children supported our younger children through the many experiences we had, with everyone at the end of each day having a huge smile and memories to share with their families each evening.
We have many events/special days coming up that we have adapted to suit the current situation and can't wait to share these with all our families and children soon.
