When making art requires teamwork…

A few weeks ago, we explored how objects can create art through motion and force. We put paper on the slide and rolled cars through paint and then down the slide. Noticing how the children responded to the experience, we have been adding different elements of motion to our art exploration. This morning we used golf balls in the tuff tray to make a larger scale 'marble painting'. The size and weight of the tray meant that we needed to team up with a friend to successfully move it around. We explored directional language, turn taking, and demonstrated a LOT of patience getting the balls to roll where we needed them!
